Safety First
Health & Safety
Safety is not a box we tick — it is the foundation of everything we do. Every operative, every site, every day.
Our Commitment to Safety
At NUH Services Ltd, health and safety is embedded into our culture from the top down. Managing Director Najam Hassan sets the standard personally — every team member is trained, every process is documented, and every client site is treated with the same rigorous approach regardless of size or sector.
How we operate
Our Safety Commitments
Full Public Liability Insurance
We carry comprehensive public liability insurance across all service lines, giving our clients complete peace of mind on every engagement.
CSCS-Carded Operatives
All construction operatives hold valid CSCS cards appropriate to their role. We verify cards before deployment and maintain up-to-date records for every worker.
Risk Assessments & Method Statements
We produce site-specific RAMS for every project before work begins. These are reviewed, signed off and communicated to all operatives prior to mobilisation.
Vetted & DBS-Checked Staff
Security and education sector operatives are DBS-checked as standard. All staff undergo identity verification, right-to-work checks and reference screening before placement.
Regular Training & Toolbox Talks
Our teams receive ongoing health and safety training, including regular toolbox talks covering site-specific hazards, manual handling, PPE requirements and emergency procedures.
Incident Reporting & Near-Miss Logging
We operate a transparent incident reporting system. All near-misses, accidents and hazards are logged, investigated and used to continuously improve our safety practices.
"I take personal responsibility for the safety of every person who works under the NUH Services banner. If it is not safe, it does not happen — full stop."
Najam Hassan
Managing Director, NUH Services Ltd
